About Motion Gallery

We are not for profit artist coop. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for artists to promote their art as well as themselves. We have a dynamic collection of works from new and veteran artists.

As well, we have a space for hosting events of all kinds in an eclectic atmosphere!

    Artist's in Motion stay in motion!

    We are a not for profit artist coop. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for artists to promote their art as well as themselves. We have a dynamic collection of works from new and veteran artists.

    Submission Guidelines:

    Every month artists pay a $60 buy-in for the duration of the month, Artists set their own prices, and the gallery takes %15 commission.

    Submission requirements:

    Interested artists must provide:

    - An artist statement no more than 3 paragraphs long that will fit onto an 8”x11.5” (letter size) paper.
    - Digital photos of the pieces you wish to bring to the gallery.
    - Description of each piece provided including:
    - Title
    - Size
    - Price
    - Medium
    - Full contact information
    - Name
    - E-mail
    - Phone number

    Only submissions with the above information will be considered.

    Deadlines:

    To have your artwork displayed, submissions must be received no later than the 20th at midnight the month prior to consideration. (So to have your work displayed for October, please have your submission in to me by September 20). All artists that provide the submission requirements will be kept on the waiting list until informed otherwise.

    Please note: We are in a mall, so all of our pieces have to be PG rated. As well, we need works that are ready to hang (cleats, wires. etc) and we don't accept works in tension frames.
